Trailblazers Launches Expansive Outdoor Recreation Calendar for Arkansas
BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Outdoor enthusiasts across Arkansas now have a new way to plan their adventures, thanks to the Natural State Adventure Calendar launched by Trailblazers.
The calendar, available on our homepage, is designed as a centralized hub for “human-powered” activities—bringing together events such as cycling races, group runs, paddling meetups, climbing outings, trail workdays, and educational/skills building programs. The initiative aims to make it easier for residents and visitors alike to discover and participate in the region’s rapidly expanding outdoor recreation scene.
Organizers say the calendar is still evolving and will continue to grow as community members and event hosts contribute listings. Trailblazers has encouraged local groups and organizers to submit their own events, with the goal of building a comprehensive, statewide resource that reflects Arkansas’s active lifestyle culture.
The effort aligns with Trailblazers’ broader mission to promote trails, cycling, and active transportation as core elements of a healthy and connected community. The nonprofit has played a key role in developing hundreds of miles of multi-use trails and fostering outdoor engagement throughout the region.
As Northwest Arkansas continues to gain national recognition for its trail systems and outdoor amenities, Trailblazers’ calendar is positioned to serve as a go-to guide for both newcomers and longtime residents looking to get outside and stay active.
